Loading -
Pneumatic: by 2 x 12 inch lines on port or starboard at a rate of
2 x 200 tons per hour, and located 75.52 and 76.82 meters from ship's bow and 2.75 meters away from ship's rail.
Mechanical: directly into holds via feeder manholes of diamater 68 cm, at 500 tons per hour. Mechanical loading prefercd from starboard side due to obstructions.
Discharge -
Pneumatic: at 300 Mtons/hr via 2 outlets of 12 Inches on port or starboard located 73.05 and 73.72 meters from bow. Discharge rate is based on 200 m distance, and average rates are based on clean shore pipes with free flow and no back pressure. Rates exclude stripping time.
Mechanical: at 2 x 100 tons per hours via two bulk chutes located at a distance of 45.3 and 69.6 from vessel bow on port side. Distance from water level to bottom of bulk chute when vessel is fully loaded is 7.0 meters.
